Indoor smores
This is kind of random, but fun. We had promised the kids that we would build a fire and make smores. This has been an ongoing promise throughout the summer, unfortunately it has only happened a handful of times. Thank you crappy summer weather! But back to the topic at hand. We had promised a fire, but more importantly smores and of course it started pouring down rain. My husband, otherwise known as Daddy-extraordinaire , came up with the idea to just make the smores inside. "Ummm, sounds messy," was my first thought, but I didn't want to be the partypooper so marshmallow toasting over the burners of my stove began.
Of course with Daddy's help the mess was minimal. Here is Isaac toasting a marshmallow or smushmellow as Noah calls them.
Here is Gia enjoying the first of many "indoor smores." They were quite yummy and helped to ease the disappointment of the missing campfire. Great idea Daddy!
